The Space
Entry is on the ground level thru the door next to the garage. As you enter the home, you know your in for a great stay with spaces for entertainment and family fun. The ground level living space includes plenty of seating, large TV, wet bar and air hockey table! There is also a bedroom with King bed, TV, closet, private full bath with walk-in shower and french doors that lead outside to the covered porch. Back thru the game room, you’ll find the mud room/ laundry room, equipped with washer & dryer and a refrigerator that’s handy for stocking drinks and snacks. There are 16 steps that lead up to the main level of the home. You’ll be welcomed by custom log finishes, soaring ceilings with windows that reach up to the clouds offering amazing views of treetops and the valley. This is truly heaven! The open floorplan is furnished in classic mountain chic décor w/ leather couches, gas fireplace w/ stonework, big screen TV and game trophies that complete the mountain lodge feeling you’re looking for. The dining area has a long farm table with additional eating spaces just off the dining area and in the breakfast nook. There are doors from the living and dining areas that lead out to the covered porch with stunning views, outside dining table and propane gas grill ready for steaks and burgers! The gourmet kitchen features granite countertops and a large island with massive amounts of prep and servicing space. The windows bring in lovely natural light during the day. There is a Keurig coffee maker, serve ware and cookware, and stocked with just about everything you’ll need to prepare meals. Just bring your groceries! Stainless steel appliances include gas cooktop, double ovens, microwave, and full size refrigerator. There’s also a large walk-in pantry and convenient powder bath. Near the staircase, a door leads outside to the rear of the house with covered porch, bistro table and level access to the additional parking area. As you walk thru the door just past the fireplace you are welcomed by a handsomely furnished Primary Suite with beautiful log furnishings, cozy bedding and sitting area to relax and enjoy a movie. A private covered balcony awaits thru the french doors with lovely views of the canyon and tree tops. The outdoor seating offers a quiet relaxing spot for morning coffee, or to unwind after a fun day in town. The large private bath offers plenty of space with walk- in closet, double sinks, and walk-in shower. After a long day on the ski slopes, you’ll love soaking in the jacuzzi tub. There are 16 more steps that will take you up to the 3rd floor loft with open bunk space and 2 more bedrooms. The exposed log beams, vaulted ceilings and stunning views of the Ruidoso Valley are unmatched. The bunk space has 1 twin and 2 double bunks! Just beyond the bunkroom is a bedroom with queen bed, closet, TV, futon sofa, ceiling fan, and a full bath with walk-in shower. To the right of the stairs is another bedroom with a queen bed and 1 twin bed, closet, ROKU TV, ceiling fan, and it’s own full bath with walk-in shower. Little ones using the open bunk space would use either bathroom in the upstairs bedrooms. The home is heated with radiant heat in the 1st and 2nd level floors and heats the entire home. The fireplace is gas. It is equipped with central A/C for the Summer months. Services include free Wi-Fi and Dish Network satellite TV. There are TV’s in both living areas. All bedrooms have TV’s, closets and ceiling fans.

SELF CHECK IN: Access codes for the remote lock are EMAILED to the reservation holder w/in 24 hours of arrival. Be sure to complete your guest check in form after booking and provide your email address and contact phone.
DIRECTIONS AND CHECK IN INSTRUCTIONS: For the privacy of any staying guest, physical addresses are not provided until booking and confirmation is complete.

ACCESSING THE HOUSE: The property sits on top of a peak in the Upper Canyon. The main driveway on the left side up to the house is paved and steep. Entry to the house is through the door to the left of the garage. There is also a driveway on the right hand side which is gravel and also steep. This driveway allows for easier access to the second level back door where the kitchen is located (can only be unlocked from the inside). Guests have full access of the home except for the elevator, garage, and any locked doors which are for owner’s access only.

Ruidoso is a picturesque alpine village nestled in the the Lincoln National Forest of Lincoln County, boasting some of the greatest areas for outdoor adventure with over 10 miles of hiking and biking trails, 3 area lakes, championship golf, and more. A day trip can be filled with amazing natural wonders at White Sands National Monument, and Valley of Fire State Park. History buffs will enjoy a short drive to Fort Stanton and even Old Lincoln, the city were Billy the Kid made his famous escape! Head to Ruidoso Downs and watch the quarter horse races live! In the winter months hit the slopes at Ski Apache. Packed with fun and adventure, Heaven’s Peak provides the perfect vacation home to create lasting memories.

Our central location is also a perfect base-camp for exploring all of Southern New Mexico, in close proximity to Carlsbad Caverns and White Sands National Park. Ruidoso and it’s surrounding area is truly a year-round mountain playground offering something new to explore each season. Winter is synonymous with skiing and snowboarding at Ski Apache, tubing at Ruidoso Winter Park, and holiday shopping in our bustling Midtown. Escape the summer heat! Temps here average a cool 75 degrees. Memorial Day kicks off live horse racing at Ruidoso Downs Racetrack. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy fantastic golf and miles of trails for outdoor adventure. Locals know that Ruidoso is just as spectacular in the off-season with cooler temps and fewer crowds. With over 300 days of sunshine every year, there is no one best time to visit Ruidoso.
Getting Around
Driving access is generally easy to moderate and all roads in the neighborhood are paved. Some areas around Ruidoso and Alto are hilly to mountainous but generally easy to get around year round. From Main Rd., EBARB IS STEEP AND THE DRIVEWAYS AT HEAVEN’S PEAK ARE STEEP. During winter months, guests are encouraged to have access to 4-wheel drive and/or snow chains in the event of a major winter weather event. Check weather and road conditions before travel.
